Pasta Tuna

Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta (e.g. penne or spaghetti)
  • 1 can of tuna in oil, drained
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 200 ml crushed tomatoes
  • olive oil
  • Step by step guide

    1. Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
    2. While the pasta cooks, heat some olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
    3. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic until soft and fragrant.
    4. Add the crushed tomatoes and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
    5. Stir in the tuna and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
    6. Drain the pasta and mix it with the tuna sauce.
    7. Optionally, top with fresh parsley or grated cheese before serving.
    8. Serve warm and enjoy!
