Pasta Pesto

Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta (e.g. fusilli or penne)
  • 100 g pesto (green basil pesto)
  • 50 g cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • 30 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • olive oil
  • Step by step guide

    1. Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
    2. Drain the pasta and save a little of the pasta water.
    3. Mix the warm pasta with the pesto in a bowl. Add a splash of pasta water to help coat the pasta evenly.
    4. Add cherry tomatoes if using, and mix gently.
    5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    6. Drizzle with a little olive oil.
    7. Top with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
    8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
