Pasta Pesto
Ingredients
250 g pasta (e.g. fusilli or penne)
100 g pesto (green basil pesto)
50 g cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
30 g grated Parmesan cheese
olive oil
Step by step guide
- Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- Drain the pasta and save a little of the pasta water.
- Mix the warm pasta with the pesto in a bowl. Add a splash of pasta water to help coat the pasta evenly.
- Add cherry tomatoes if using, and mix gently.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Drizzle with a little olive oil.
- Top with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
