Pasta Bolognese
Ingredients
250 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti or tagliatelle)
250 g ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
200 ml crushed tomatoes
1 tsp tomato paste
olive oil
Step by step guide
- Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- While the pasta cooks, heat some olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in the tomato paste and crushed tomatoes. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optionally some oregano or basil.
- Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce or serve the sauce on top.
- Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
