Pasta Bolognese

Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti or tagliatelle)
  • 250 g ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 200 ml crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • olive oil
  • Step by step guide

    1. Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
    2. While the pasta cooks, heat some olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
    3. Sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
    4. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
    5. Stir in the tomato paste and crushed tomatoes. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
    6. Season with salt, pepper, and optionally some oregano or basil.
    7. Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce or serve the sauce on top.
    8. Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
